This is because the box has 4 weight sensors, and placing it on a soft surface may affect its functionality and prevent it from properly trapping waste. We recommend using clumping litters like bentonite or mineral litter for optimal performance. Long tofu litter and crystal, pinewood, and activated carbon litters are not compatible with our system.

Maintenance of the self-cleaning litter box depends on factors such as the number of cats using it and the type of litter used. It is generally recommended to empty the waste container and clean the litter box every 2-3 months to ensure the best performance and hygiene. Our litter boxes are suitable for most cat breeds and sizes, with a toilet space of 65L, big enough for 2-3 small cats or 1 large cat.
